Agenda

BPNG is leveraging the Summit to strengthen local, regional, and international collaboration. At the event, local financial institutions piloting green initiatives will share their experiences with sustainable finance solutions, complemented by a private sector case study.

The GFC is backed by prominent international partners, and attendees will have the opportunity to hear from esteemed organizations—including the IMF, IFC, World Bank, ADB, UNCDF, NZ-MFAT, DFAT, and GGGI—on how they are supporting the financial sector to shape a greener Papua New Guinea.

The Summit will also bring together various Central Banks from across the South Pacific and Asia—some coming to learn from the progress PNG has made, and others to share best practices that can be adopted locally.

Additionally, our partnerships with organizations such as the SEACEN Centre, Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), Sustainable Banking Finance Network (SBFN), and Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) will ensure a diverse and impactful event, making it a truly international gathering enriched with PNG experiences and insights.

BPNG and GFC are excited to share these groundbreaking initiatives with our stakeholders. Your support in advancing sustainable finance in Papua New Guinea is deeply appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming you to this important event.
